⭐ For today’s episode of The Diary Of A CEO, the stars aligned—quite literally ⭐ Heading into this series of animations, I had a few things in the back of my mind: 1️⃣ Pushing myself with character design: I wanted to challenge myself by adding more character design and animation. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do more of but never quite had the right opportunity. This was it. The characters of Galileo and Brian Keating themselves became tools to emphasise our narratives within the b-roll. They were simple rigs, but they really elevated the scenes. 2️⃣ Experimenting with new styles: Anthony Smith and I had a conversation prior to this trailer about experimenting with some different animation styles. This has been pivotal for the last couple of episodes, which have included some of the most unique animations we’ve produced so far. 3️⃣ Building on an incredible foundation: Olivia Podmore put together an incredible foundation for this trailer. Her work set the tone for the theme we’d envisioned for a while, and it made room for some amazing visuals to come to life. It’s amazing when things come together so well, and I think that’s reflected in the final pieces. We really were shooting for the stars 💫 👀 Watch the full thing: https://lnkd.in/eXa6vfbC Flight Studio Steven Bartlett

🚀 One Month Working on The Diary Of A CEO at Flight Studio 🚀 I’m about one month into my role as a Video Editor at Flight Studio. From editing clips (shoutout to Shane Winckworth) to trailers for DOAC under the incredible Anthony Smith (shoutout to Olivia Podmore and Timur Ahmet), it’s been a brilliant journey so far. 🔎 My key findings: - 100% People First: Steven often emphasises that every company is, at its core, a recruitment company. It’s not just about hiring the best but retaining them. At Flight Studio, the culture is truly world-class, and everyone is highly valued. I work with people who are the best at what they do, and they all have incredible attitudes. - Fully Data-Driven: Every decision is meticulously backed by data, there is no guesswork. Coupled with a culture of experimentation led by Grace Miller, this approach fuelled much of DOAC’s growth. - Unparalleled Growth: Flight Studio’s expansion rate is astonishing. It didn’t take long to realise I’m part of a rapidly evolving team and I was very quickly not the ‘new hire’! - SIAU (supportive is an understatement): The culture of support and teamwork here is exceptional. Whether it’s offering advice, giving feedback, or simply providing encouragement, the team is constantly supportive of each other. 💡 I am so thrilled to be part of this journey and keen to share my insights. 👇 Let me know the sort of things you'd love to see below. ---- A huge thank you to these incredible individuals: Jack Sylvester, Georgie Holt, Christiana Brenton, Will Lindsay-Perez, Grace Andrews, Elishama Udorok, Steven Bartlett (and so many more!) for their unwavering support and providing amazing opportunities! 📸 : the incredible Will Lindsay-Perez #FlightStudio #CompanyCulture #Growth #DataDriven #Innovation #DOAC #OneMonth
