Let me give away some secrets… 🔍🕵️‍♂️ Pulling back the curtain on one of today’s The Diary Of A CEO trailer animations, here are a few of the 1%s you might spot: 1️⃣ The majority of the ‘busyness’ comes from one custom background created with ChatGPT and Veo 3. A great way to use AI for the foundation and heavy work (I only had a few hours to produce this). A subtle blur helped to sell it. 2️⃣ Can you see the unused assets lying around? For example, the final animation only focuses on one clock. The original idea had several, but it became too visually busy. I loved it, but it had to go. 3️⃣ Lighting tells a lot of the story, but it's all fake... The coloured lighting adds tone and feel, but it’s really just an adjustment layer on top. I tried AE’s 3D lights, but the extra 20–30 minutes of render time wasn’t worth it in a crunch. So many time saving 1%s in this one. FLIGHTSTORY

Cool 🤩 Really learn from the way you use AI Thanks for sharing
🚀 One Month Working on The Diary Of A CEO at Flight Studio 🚀 I’m about one month into my role as a Video Editor at Flight Studio. From editing clips (shoutout to Shane Winckworth) to trailers for DOAC under the incredible Anthony Smith (shoutout to Olivia Podmore and Timur Ahmet), it’s been a brilliant journey so far. 🔎 My key findings: - 100% People First: Steven often emphasises that every company is, at its core, a recruitment company. It’s not just about hiring the best but retaining them. At Flight Studio, the culture is truly world-class, and everyone is highly valued. I work with people who are the best at what they do, and they all have incredible attitudes. - Fully Data-Driven: Every decision is meticulously backed by data, there is no guesswork. Coupled with a culture of experimentation led by Grace Miller, this approach fuelled much of DOAC’s growth. - Unparalleled Growth: Flight Studio’s expansion rate is astonishing. It didn’t take long to realise I’m part of a rapidly evolving team and I was very quickly not the ‘new hire’! - SIAU (supportive is an understatement): The culture of support and teamwork here is exceptional. Whether it’s offering advice, giving feedback, or simply providing encouragement, the team is constantly supportive of each other. 💡 I am so thrilled to be part of this journey and keen to share my insights. 👇 Let me know the sort of things you'd love to see below. ---- A huge thank you to these incredible individuals: Jack Sylvester, Georgie Holt, Christiana Brenton, Will Lindsay-Perez, Grace Andrews, Elishama Udorok, Steven Bartlett (and so many more!) for their unwavering support and providing amazing opportunities! 📸 : the incredible Will Lindsay-Perez #FlightStudio #CompanyCulture #Growth #DataDriven #Innovation #DOAC #OneMonth
